Sony quickly changed the name of a trophy in  God of War: Ascension considered misogynistic and disrespectful.
Rare enough to be reported here, a trophy of God of War: Ascension deemed sexist was renamed via a patch to the game's release in the United States. Originally titled " Bros before Hos "(" The Potes before whores "in French), the trophy, which is obtained by removing a woman's body in fury, would have offended the players who tested the game before its release.
This formula is a popular American expression, and trophies are often the opportunity to place a dash of humor for developers ... but it did not really taste of everyone.
Sony Santa Monica is so eager to rename " Bros before Foes "(" The Potes before Enemies "in French) to avoid controversy. A hotfix patch has accompanied the release of the title.
Note that this controversy concerns only the English name of the trophy, since it simply French entitled " The friends first "... not enough to start a riot so even for George Brassens.

Let it be said, the gaming world is in crisis. We have never been so many to play yet, independent studios are closing one after the other, the press is undermined, and the games are selling less. More worryingly, even big studio blockbusters, however, supported by heavy marketing campaigns, struggling to find their audiences.
Eidos we reported a few days ago the disappointing sales of Tomb Raider or Hitman  , but now we learn that in the U.S., it's Judgment Gears of War and God of War: Ascension , two of the biggest games of the year, which appear not to have met the expected success.
As a reminder, Gears of War 3 had won no less 3 million players , while God of War III has sold  1 million copies in just two days .
Yet it is clear that at present, GOW Judment has sold 4.7 times less than its predecessor. While sales of the game featuring the adventures of Kratos, they were simply divided by 3 compared to the third installment in the series! Crisis, you are told. Is a deep questioning of the publishers to avoid such a quarry in the future?

On the occasion of the release of new downloadable content on PlayStation Store, Santa Monica says there will be no single player DLC for God of War: Ascension .
In addition to the traditional single player mode, the album Ascension offers a multiplayer mode, a first in the history of the series. Concentrate on the latter, the single player mode is not decorated with DLC. It is indeed that saysAaron Kaufman, Community Strategist from Santa Monica :

We would like to explore DLC for single player, but we have nothing planned at this stage, which would sense the history and where it ends.

It is not a lack of will on our part, but we are determined to change the multiplayer mode.

Clearly, no downloadable content is planned for the story mode until further notice. It is therefore unlikely to see land a DLC for single player as Santa Monica has finished his story as he wished with God of War: Ascension.

The man is responsible for one of the best episodes of the series of ash bat, and thus said: " Take a look at the PlayStation Blogtomorrow - I heard he had a crazy announcement [to] . "
Also close to the GamesCom which runs from 21 to 25 August next, we doubt that it is so crazy, but who knows? Perhaps will there be a beginning of God of War PS4 to discover tomorrow?
It is also quite possible that it has nothing to do with ongoing projects at Sony Santa Monica, the studio has already tease on ads that do not relate to their games, but especially Cory Barlog left the studio to join Crystal Dynamics, where he worked on the cinematics of the last Tomb Raider .
